# Digital Album Studio

> Digital Album Studio (DAS) is software for wedding and event photographers that does three jobs in one app: designing photo albums, client proofing of the album on any phone, tablet or computer, and online photo galleries where clients pick their favourites. Made by ZOOM Photography, a working wedding photography studio in Greece. Public beta from the end of October 2026.

## What it does

- **Album design (Windows app):** drop in the photos, cut them into spreads in one click, choose from dozens of layouts, design covers and endpapers with your lab's own PSD templates, and export print-ready files to your lab's exact specifications.
- **Client proofing on any device:** the client gets a link (with optional PIN) and pages through the album as a real book, on a phone (portrait or landscape), tablet or computer, with nothing to install. They comment on any photo or page, and approve the album. The photographer sees comments in the app and gets email notifications. Older versions stay hidden from the client.
- **Photo galleries:** share all the photos of an event in sections, clients mark favourites in one or more collections ("for the album", "for prints"), the studio can also pick photos together with the client. A collection becomes a new album in one click, or its files are copied to a folder for prints.
- **Languages:** English, Greek, German, Italian, French and Spanish; client pages open in the client's language automatically.
- **Privacy:** original photos stay on the photographer's computer; only viewing copies go to the cloud, on servers in the European Union, behind private links.

## Alternatives it replaces

DAS covers in one app what photographers usually do with separate tools: album design software, album proofing services and client gallery services.
