Chapter 13

The same album in another size

Copy in another size: e.g. 20×20 albums for the parents from the 30×30.
  1. Lab and new size: each size with its name; sizes of the same proportion come first, the others say “another proportion from this one”.
  2. What the copy holds: three buttons side by side (the chosen one coloured): the whole album, cover and endpapers, or only the cover (exported to Name_20_cover).
  3. The template of each sheet: you always choose it (a suggestion, another PSD, or scale down).

A new album is made next to the original (e.g. Name_20) and stands joined to it with “+” on the home screen; the original does not change. An open cover stays open in the copy, with the photo on the new plate and the same material (your own zones on the spine or back do not go across). Automatic layouts are recalculated for the new size, and the cover is moved between its guides, so the spine text stays in the middle of the spine and photos stay clear of the hinges.
