- The collection: client name and email, how many photos, notes, when.
- Its photos, with the client’s note under each one.
- Copy names: the file names, one per line.
- Copy files to a folder…: the full-resolution files, e.g. for prints.
- → New album: the full-resolution files are copied into the album folder and the New album window opens with the name ready.
- Each collection has its own soft pastel colour. Select photos and click ✕ Out of the collection, or right-click them: ✕ Out of the collection, 🗑 Delete from the gallery… (with the Recycle Bin option), Photoshop, Folder. The 🗑 of the collection deletes the whole collection and hides while photos are selected.
- Each visitor sees only their own collections; you see them all. The mother and the godmother can each make their own list for their own album.
- + New collection for a client: pick photos together with the client at the studio. It is saved in the cloud like the client’s own.
- You get an email 15 minutes after the client’s last change, with what was added and removed.
The New album window
- Where the photos come from: a folder, a list of file names (for clients who picked elsewhere), or a client collection.
- Name, client, save folder.
- Lab and size: your labs and their sizes, your own sizes, or a custom size (units, DPI, spread size, safe zones, trim, single first or last page).
- Type / cover: a saved cover type, so the album opens with the cover already set up.
The second step chooses the layout library and the look: layouts across the spine, full-bleed pages, background colour, a border round each photo, the gap between photos. Everything changes later too.
From a list of names: paste the names in any form (commas, spaces, one per line, with or without .jpg), choose the folder with all the event photos, and the app finds them, also in subfolders. If a name is in two folders (e.g. originals and web copies) it shows both and suggests the larger files.
