All the photos of the event for the client, in sections. The client marks favourites, and those lists come back to you, ready for the album.
- Sections: All, then your sections (Getting ready, Ceremony, Reception). ↑ ↓ to reorder, ✎ rename, 🗑 delete.
- Cover: right-click any photo to make it the cover; click the cover to set the point that always stays visible (faces).
- Settings: downloads allowed or not, available until (the gallery closes after that day, nothing is deleted), reminder email to the clients.
- Size in the cloud: “For web” (1920 px, small, fast) or “Full size” (the originals, for full-resolution downloads).
- Watermark: one of yours, or none. It never touches your originals.
- ↑ Upload: the first time with an optional PIN; afterwards only new or changed photos go up, counted in a blue box (“12 photos to upload”). Thumbnails of files you changed update themselves.
- Photos: drag to reorder or onto a section to move them. Order, sections and removals reach the client at once.
Which size should I choose before uploading? Right above ↑ Upload, under Size in the cloud:
- For web (the default, and what we recommend): 1920 px on the long side, up to 250 KB a photo, like a web export from Lightroom. They look perfect on phones, tablets and computers, upload fast and take very little space: 200 photos are about 50 MB.
- Full size: your files as they are. Only if you want clients to download the full resolution files from the gallery. The same 200 photos take about 2 GB, 40 times the space, and take much longer to upload.
Large view and removing photos
- Space opens the selected photo large (the same window as in albums): rule of thirds, Edit in Photoshop (it opens the full-size file; after you save, the gallery’s copy is made again) and Show in folder. Corrections are made in Lightroom or Photoshop.
- Remove (or Delete): a window lists the photos and, with the tick, moves their files on this computer to the Recycle Bin too (the gallery’s file, the full-size one and the web copy), so they do not end up on the client’s USB. From the Recycle Bin they can still come back.
- A photo deleted from the gallery also leaves the clients’ collections and is no longer counted anywhere (card, tab, client page, emails).
Add photos
- Drag files or a whole folder, at any size (no need for a “reduced size” export). The app keeps only small previews; your files stay where they are.
- A folder with subfolders: each subfolder becomes a section with its name.
- The web copies that go to the client are also saved next to your photos, in a “Reduced Size” folder, so you do not export them twice from Lightroom.
After the upload
Copy the link (or click 👁 to see it as the client), or let the app send the invitation email. New link stops the old one at once.
