- ‹ › or [ ]: previous / next layout for what the tab shows.
- Whole spread / Left page / Right page: change the layout of one page only; − / + sets how many photos go left.
- Layouts across the spine and full-bleed pages: switch them on or off for the whole album.
- All designs: the side panel with every design (banners, strips, circles, film, scattered prints…).
- ♥ makes a layout a favourite and brings it first; drag layouts to set your own order. After the favourites, the ones you use most move left by themselves.
- Your templates: Save as template keeps the spread with every detail (frames, text, shapes, borders, background). They work in every album and every size, and show first in light blue.
- Community templates: share yours with other photographers, or install theirs from the community library (see chapter 17).
- An orange dot on Automatic layout means the spread has its own design; the button brings it back to an automatic layout.
- Auto-Build (Ctrl+Shift+B): spreads made from the photos automatically; you say how many.
- Right-click an empty spot: the same layout for every spread with as many photos, mirror, a new empty spread, single first or last page.
